 Q. How do I begin with HAPPY TAILS?
A. Before any services are to begin, we will need to arrange an initial consultation time, in the privacy of your own home. This is the time that we will get to know one another, and go over the contract, policies and procedures, individualized pet care plan, become familiar with your home, and your schedule,  and most importantly,give your pet a chance to 'pre-approve' me.  This visit can last from 15 - 45 minutes.

Q.  Any special requirements?
A.  In order to keep your dog, myself and other dogs safe while we walk, the following requirements must be met::

::Your dog must be in good health. A exercise routine can be individualized for your dog.
::Your dog must be spayed or neutered.
::I will only walk your dog on a leash! Please make sure that the leash provided is strong , and not fraying.((leashes are provided in case of emergencies, such as this)).
::Your dog must be on a flea prevention program, and/or flea free. This is to ensure non-cross contamination to another client's home.

Q.  What happens if my travel plans change?
A. 
Rescheduling::: Please let HAPPY TAILS Pet Care know as soon as possible, if you need to cancel or change a service.  Please let me know within 48 hours, in order to receive a refund. 
 
Delayed in your trip::: It is most important that you let HAPPY TAILS Pet Care know if you are delayed in returning home from your vacation.  Please note though, that extra time will be billed.
 
Q.  How many days in advance should I call to book?
A.  Please call as soon as you get your travel dates finalized.  I will try to accommodate any last minute plans. However, my schedule always works best for all, when I know in advance. Please keep in mind that the holidays are always the busiest.  I recommend arrangements at least 2 weeks in advance, to ensure care is in place.
 
Q.  What safety precautions does Happy Tails follow?
A. 
::If your dog is known to be aggressive, for safety reason,  the wag-a-thon option will not be accepted.
::House keys will not be kept on file in my home.
::My car is unmarked as to not draw attention to outside attendance to your home.

Q.  How is billing managed?
A. PAYMENT::Until credit is established, full payment is required at the time of the in home consultation. Once credit has been established, we will set up a payment schedule so that payment is made at least twice in the month ((for wag-a-thon service)).

Q.  What if my pet(s) or property is damaged while away?
A. 
HAPPY TAILS Pet Care by Ali agrees to provide the services stated in our service agreement in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner.  HAPPY TAILS Pet Care is only liable for claims arising from negligence or willful misconduct.  We cannot accept responsibility for unusual behaviour from the animals ((ie.. biting, furniture damage, injury, illness)).

Q.  Do you have references?
